The E.C. Burnett, III award  recognizes non-attorneys whose work has improved the legal system in Spartanburg County. To be eligible, the nominee must reside or work in Spartanburg county.

The purpose of the C. Bruce Littlejohn award is to recognize outstanding contributions of young lawyers to the practice of law and to the Spartanburg  community. To be eligible, the nominee must practice law in Spartanburg County, must be a member of the Spartanburg County Bar Association and must be 36 years of age or younger or have been in practice for five years or less.
